Announcing COSMOPOLIS FESTIVAL 2026
We are thrilled to announce this year's Cosmopolis Festival season, highlighting the music of Palestine with world-renowned singer Nai Barghouti and her ensemble; crossover jazz with the quartet of Tigran Hamasyan from Armenia, one of the leading pianists of his generation; Hong Kong's own Cong Quartet presenting an evening of chamber music classics, including the Asian premiere of our guest artist, acclaimed American composer Sheila Silver; Zhang Ying, master pipa virtuoso whose concert will include the premiere of a new work from Mia Zhao, commissioned by the Cosmopolis Festival.
Alongside the concerts, our artists will present a number of educational events, including a masterclass and lecture-demonstration by the Brazilian guitarist brothers Sérgio and Odair Assad; a workshop on Arabic music with Nai Barghouti; a chamber music masterclass with the Cong Quartet; and more.
